Renewing God's Love

This was the message of yesterday's church sermon: Righteousness beyond Reciprocal Treatment.

43"You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' 44But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
Matthew 5

So difficult to do... to even not hate your enemy is difficult.. to have to love and pray for them sounds totally absurd... But tts wat Jesus did for his pple... to Love those who stoned him to death...

Was struggling wif walk wif God recently... felt guilty and unworthy to speak to God.. but during service today i suddenly felt like as if God told me. "I know u feel awful that have sinned n done wrong... but I will help u overcome your weakness bcos u r my child." Kinda felt better after being prayed for... to be able to remove my burden of bitterness n anger. I hope one day i can really have the grace of God, and pple can truly see tt i am different as a christian.. tt i am truly a son of God.

Went to sweet Kelly's 21st bday function. Happy Bday Babe! It was great meeting my old poly pals... gidong, TK, NEW, Eugene Yang etc. A pity the rest didnt come... i wan to upload some pics of the party... unfortunately blogger isnt responding... well i shall try again some other time.. spent almost an hr trying... sheeeesh!!
